When this happens in a 400 Series IH engine, the first thing to suspect is the engine oil cooler which is the 2 foot long tube at the lower front right-hand corner of the engine. The bundle inside it can rupture, sending engine oil into the cooling system. The best product to clean out the cooling system I have found is a product called RESTORE, which is available from your local Cummins engine dealer. Do this & replace the oil cooler & you should be OK.
