The 2500 was the industrial version of the 574 tractor. The 2500B was the industrial version of the 584 tractor. Actually, all four tractor had the same bacic engine, transmission, and final drives, the front axles, tin, hydraulics, frame, rear tires and hitch were a few of the differences depending on the use for ag. or industry. They were bothe made at the Louisville, Ky. plant on the same production line at the same time. hope this helps. George
