I/H 1586 with turbo

I have a neighbor that owns a 1586 and I am wanting to approach him about buying it. Two questions. I don't know how much the thing is worth? And I do not know anything about this brand/model tractor. The tractor is pretty rusty and is sitting in his backyard with weeds growing up through the frame. The cowling doesn't look to be all there but I'm sure he has it somewhere. And the right front tire is off and the frame is on blocks because of this. Looks like it has beens sitting like this for years. The reason that I am interested in this tractor is because I "feel" I could purchase it for cheap ($1000? or less?). All I want is something for general (small plowing, box blading, and bush hogging) use on my 10 acres place. Any suggestions regarding an approach and info on the tractor model would be greatly appreciated. Craig
