Help with Super A hood

How good is the hood supposed to fit on these tractors? I just got mine painted and put the grill, hood, and gas tank on. Seems like there is not quite enough room between the gas tank and grill also hood doesn't pull down tight on right side and seems pushed back. All the riser pipes touch the back of their cut outs. Are there any tricks to improve the fit or did they not fit great from the factory? Thanks, Frustrated.
