Ted,both Skip and Alex are right.Also I have found a time or two that the end of the shaft is wore a little making it jump out.I too thought it was the other end and repaired it and it still jumped out.All I did was pull the pto and remove one or two of the metal spacer and havent had any problems since.Hope it helps!
