The TISCO kits are a good kit, but with the luck I have had with them, it may be troubling.. As far as buying from Case-IH, be prepared to pay some bucks for a rebuild kit.. As far as an economical way with high quality parts, your best bet is to buy an aftermarket gasket set, a set of pistons and sleeves from a NOS IH parts dealer, have the head rebuilt using the current valves and springs. Now, as far as bearings go, you may want to buy a set off of a NOS parts dealer or Case-IH (I haven't priced H rod and main bearings through a Case IH dealer, but Case-IH was about $80 cheaper than NAPA for a Main and rod set for a 1086, and that was at a 10% over cost discout that NAPA gave our local high school power mechanics program)..
