I am using a 4 foot pull behind on mine. It is made by King Kutter. The Super A (I have a 100---same thing) will turn it no problem even in heavy or wet grass. I hitched mine directly behind the PTO shaft. I have a worksaver conversion kit, but must remove it and put back on the original drawbar to use the pull-behind, as the left lift linkage will get in the way of the PTO shaft. Only annoying thing is that the U-Joints start banging if you are turned by more than about 30 degrees with respect to the mower... Not a real problem, just something to live with. I did see a posting on this board once from someone who was using a 3 point hitched mower on his Super-A. He indicated that it worked out OK for him. I would at least consider the possibility of using a constant velocity type drive shaft for a 3 point setup on a Super-A.
