John, clean the breather with kerosene or gas. Use SAE30 both in it and the crankcase. You might want to consider getting a new oil pan gasket and permatex red silicone gasket maker and plan on dropping the pan after you drain the oil. As poorly as that tractor, and the farm, was kept, I bet you have lots of sludge in the bottom of the oil pan. After dropping the pan, take off the oil inlet screen and THOROUGHLY clean that screen. The protective cover over the screen comes off with little difficulty.
