Evidently the H had a bad intake several years ago, so they went to salvage yard and they sold them the M intake and carb [ so im told ]just this spring his dad bought the M from a neighbors sale and my friend is getting it running for him.
He cleaned and checked the carb on the M about 10 times, it ran good but wouldn't idle, so the man's son [ with the H ] said lets see if my carb will make it run ok, so they changed it and it ran good and idled good [the carb from the H witch is supposed to be from a M ]so they would like to get carb and intake for the H and put this carb on the M.
I have not seen it, I don't know if it has some type of adpter plate for it or not, my friend told me the story about the M intake & carb on the H, he said they took the carb off the H last week and put it on the M, maybe someone done some welding ?????
