Is there a terminology mixup here? By "breather" are you referring to the air cleaner? Breather usually refers to the crankcase ventilation system and that normally doesn't have an oil resevoir. Since you asked about what oil to use I assume you are talking about the air cleaner. (Maybe different parts of the country don't refer to these items with the same terms as where I'm from?)
