I will only comment on the M since I have no experience with the G. You can get an aftermarket 3 point for it. With regards to abuse, I use Ernie's 2 Ms which are very poorly maintained. They are both still strong runners. Up until this year the Super M was used with a JD 4 row no-till planter for corn and it pulled it without any trouble. In the fall I either pull 2 250 bushel grain hoppers with the M or 3 with the Super M. At night, however, we use the JD4240 which is loaded with extra lights.
