If you live in a state which has an Amish population of any size, there is a good chance that farm supply stores or hardwares in the small towns of that area will stock square-head bolts. Those folks operate machinery which came with such nuts and bolts, and religious restrictions often prevent them from updating to the "modern" hex-head variety when repairs are needed.
