My H and M did the same thing. I took the transmission top off and replaced the cam rollers and did a lil welding on shifting cam to keep the cam rollers in place when they slide in. you can tell whats worn when you get it apart. it sounds like quite a job, but it actually isnt. probably should replace any springs under there too.
