the evolution of the e4a to the f4 was not a clean cut one on one tractor year, model ect. it started with the common e4a then the e4a with automatic impulse then the f4 with e4a type automatic impulse then f4 with f4 automatic impulse. the f4 alone went thru 2 or 3 phases not counting the impulse part of it. a f4 with e4a automatic impulse will not fit a tractor built for a f4 with f4 automatic immpulse...walt
