A couple of possibilities: First, are the valves set properly?? Turn the engine over a few times with the valve cover off and be sure that all the valves are closing completely when they should. Second, since you mention that #1 and #2 are both zero that would point to a leak between the two cylinders. If the valves are set properly and you still get no compression you may have to remove the head again and check to be sure the head gasket is sealing between #1 and #2. Did you use a CaseIH gasket or other? I've heard that gaskets other than CaseIH sometimes do not work very well. Steven
