RedMan, the fouling plugs you mention may be due to improper carb setting or the wrong heat range plug, which would give you a smoking appearance. Is the smoke blue and is the tractor using oil? It may be due for an overhaul or it may need a minor going over, a carb kit and new plugs and wiring is a far cry from major overhaul.Can you give us more info and description of the tractor's performance...if it uses a lot of oil we won't have anything more to talk about....good luck with the C and post us ..Mike in Exeter Ontario
