I stopped by a fork-lift dealership today for some parts. They recently had a farmall M on the lot that they were trying to sell for 3250... it was nothing special, a super m with fair rear tires and a worn engine, no paint, lots of dents. But definitely not worth 3250! I had looked at it a few months earlier, and wisely passed on it. They painted it a few weekes ago- or at least tried.. overspray on everything everthing, decals on crooked, really doubt the sheetmetal was even sanded. I was a sad sight. Well today I found out they sold it to some city slicker (unforunate sucker) for $3250. No wonder antique tractor prices are so high, the people buying them don't have a clue! Sorry, I had to rank. I hope I didn't offend anyone, I know tractor values vary throughout the country. But I hate to see novice buyers being taken! Thanks to all on this message board for wealth of tractor information they are willing to share. Good day!
