If the arm on the bottom of the box goes up and down noticably, the lower bushing is worn. The upper bearing might as well be replaced while the thing is apart. The bearing, if not worn, is probably rusty since the boxes tend to accumulate water. To do the whole job, get the input and output shaft bushings, input and output shaft bearings, input and output shaft seals. You should order the shaft keys as well, since they are cheap and you will probably find that they are loose in the shaft slots by now. There is a key for the steering arm, as well as the sector gear. There is also a C-Clip that holds the lower shaft in place. It is odd sized, so you should get one of those as well. I had to destroy the C-Clip on mine to get things apart. Finally, there is a gasket for the lower cover. I think the whole job will run under $100 for parts. Oh, ya.. the steering arm is held onto the lower shaft with a big momma nut. I think it is around 1 5/8 inch, so you will need a socket to fit that. Sears carries them if you don't have one already. Have fun.
