I have a 1949 M as well. It was my first tractor, i am only 24 but love that tractor. Mine doesn't have the extra hole or tank. I wish it did though. It would be woth more restored that way. You might not make a lot of money off it to resell if you restore it but would be well worth the fun if you like that kinda thing. I have 3 M's 49,40,51 with power sterring. In my area (NE) sales are down right now becuz of the economy and all but in decent times that M (since it is free) is probably worth the money. But of course findhis bottom dollar first. Good luck and let me know what happens if you get a minute.
