Most of us have very strange rational when it comes to buying a tractor, especially one we plan to restore. The advice we give is to negotiate very hard to save a few hundred dollars on the cost of the orginal tractor. And then we will spend thousands having the fun of restoration. Has anybody tried to talk down a machine shop on a crankshaft grind or head restoration? The tractors orginal costs is frequently small potatoes compared with the real finished price of the project. Sorry for the long post. Dick
