On Cubs with 6 volts, the generator housing is the same diameter for the entire length. For 12 volt generators, the end of the generator away from the pulley end will be smaller diameter than at the pulley end. Cubs with factory alternator are rare. Anyone with one of those, I would like to borrow your brackets to copy them.
