I have a 300 farmall that had the battery ignition on it when I bought it. I had to keep a top notch battery into it in the winter. If it didn't start right up and drew the battery down a little forget it, hook the chain to it. I finally went to a salvage yard and bought a 'mag' to put on it. What a difference that made. I now am more comfortable about relying on it.
