What about that throttle plate in the carb wide open thing. Help me out here. If the lever is forward should not the throttle plate be closed? I put the carb on the mounting bolts loose and the little notch in the throttle drive is facing the block (closed) I then put the cross over tube tounge in the throttle drive notch. Am I screwed up with this or am I on the right track? I pull the throttle lever back, and the pin that hooks the throttle cross over shaft will slide in easy with the rod with the adj. nut is pulled all the way up. The whole thing seems to me that I have some part in a bind but I sure can't locate it. Your thoughts please..Thanks
