I was 8 when my uncle told me to take the wheel of his IH H or C. He owned a vineyard in Paw Paw Michigan. I was so excited that I snagged a row and ripped out the first post and wires for him... Oops! What are those pedals for, Uncle Ed?! My first tractor, a Ford 860, came with its little sister, a '48 8N, at an auction in Missouri. I'm helping my son restore his first real tractor, a '47 Cub, that I got for $500 down the road. He restored a Sears SS-12 before that when he was about 12.
