That's kinda what I was thinking it might be. The radiator is limed up some, at least what I see down through the neck. I suspect the antifreeze in it was what was there when my uncle sold it back when, and couldn't say when the sealer was put in. Will probably have it flushed and tested just for good measure while I'm resleeving the engine (good opportunity to clean out the sludge in the head and block, too, I guess). Couldn't abide having to take it back off after I'd got her all back together! Thanks, Bob and others.
