Sounds like a vacuum leak to me or else a restriced fuel line or passage in the carb. Is there any whistling sound at any speed around the carb or manifold? Another way to check for a vacuum leak is to start the engine up cold and spray some WD-40 or carb cleaner around the carb and manifold and see if there is any change in the way the engine is running. Take the fuel line off from the carb and see if you have a good rate of fuel flow there. If these provide no answers there is probably gunk in the carb or it is time for a rebuild on the carb. Steven
