My first tractor to operate was a 1948 MD Farmall. I pulled a disk with it and used a No. 7 John Deere mowing machine (sickle bar). My grandfather or father wouldn't let me bushhog until I was up in the high school years and even then only small stuff. I have seen my father cut some mighty bad stuff with that old MD and IH bushhog.
