The first tractor I ever drove was a '41 B John Deere, this was in the summer of '42, and I drove the tractor pulling a rubber tired 7X14 hay rack wagon and a John Deere hay loader while two people loaded loads of loose hay. The B was a really nice tractor, 6 speeds with electric starter and lights. The first tractor I owned was a 1953 Farmall Super M, and it was still one darned good tractor even though it was 26 years old when I got it.
