the 450 diesel was a good tractor. correct me if i am wrong but there about 60 horsepower. it would do a good job with a square baler. i bale with a super m gas. parts are available anywhere in the U.S., just find a local dealer and ther set you right up with most anything you need. well unless you can get it real cheap i wouldt buy it. when you have to pull start a diesel the motor needs some tlc. diesels were very expensive to repair. also if he had it runnign id check the ta. if it is out unless you fix it yourself this can be expensive. is the engine a direct start diesel? if not does it run in gas mode? may just need a starter. the transition from gas to diesel shuld be smooth and not smokey. let me no if you have any other questions. derek
