If you are talking about the universal style coupling, those bolts are tapered and pressed in. It's easier to take the nuts/washers off and then pry the yoke apart leaving the bolts in their respective places. It can be a bear because there isn't much room to work in there. Its been a couple of years since I did one and only remember I didn't want to do another one real soon.//FB
