Freddy--on the C the shutter rod is in two parts. The rear part from the lever runs through one of the gaps (the lower, I think) in the air cleaner mounting bracket. The front part comes back from the shutters themselves and passes through a slot in the generator bracket. The two parts join in a turnbuckle type joint so you can adjust the length-one end threaded right-hand, the other left. I don't remember which, fore or aft, has the left hand thread, but it's something to keep in mind if you're fabricating. Scotty
