On the 300 and 350 it was on the underside of clutch-torque amplifier housing. It was about the middle of that casting. There was flat lever which pivoted at one end and two holes 3/8" at the other end. there was one threaded hole in casting for a 3/8" bolt. One of the two holes on lever was engaged, the other disengaged. The coupler inside the casting was such that you had to have someone at pto shaft to turn it while engageing to line up gear. (pto engaged) I assume the 400 and 450 were the same. I hope I have been of some help.
