If it is leaking at the base of the connecting rod housing where it bolts to the governor housing or leaking from behind the cover plate on the side of the governor, there are gaskets that can be replaced in both locations. The governor runs in oil brought in from the crankcase and it drains out back into the crankcase through a low spot at the bottom of the governor housing. You don't have to add oil to the governor.//FB
