JD, That truck brings back memories for me, too, although I never drove one. In the summer of '59 I was working on a farm in Indiana, using primarily a brand new 460 gas tractor (I loved it, but never told my dad). There was an Emeryville that went by every morning and evening, and it had the neatest sound to it - don't know if it had a replacement muffler or not, but it must have been a Cummins - it sure wasn't a Jimmy diesel. There was also one of those that went by every day - one of the slope-nose versions - it sounded like a Jimmy, for sure. Thanks for letting me join this board. Stan
