Seals for almost all replacements from Case are newer thinner type made of rubber, old original were usually triple lip leather type, check your housing for cracks that it drives into, then inspect for grooves worn into shaft, per side I would advise putting 2 or more new style seals and try and position them slightly in deeper or out and get to different wear surface. Also check the ball bearings to make sure not breaking up, this real problem on older equipment with a lot of time against machine.
