I'm Chief Engineer for a television station (WNIT-TV) in Elkhart, IN. I was taught engines and mechanics as a kid growing up by my mechanical engineer father. I worked my way through electronics school as a small engine mechanic. I do a lot of standby generator repair on the side, as most generator repair people are electricians only and don't seem to know much about engines, at least in this area. My hobby was electronics, up until a few years ago, when I could no longer relax at home with what I did at work all day any more. :)
