Well fellas, I was a teacher for 31 years and during that time ran a farm for 12 years..got to be a little much so I rented the land to some friends..I retired last year and a friend begged me to work at his service garage part time since I've restored cars, tractors and taught an auto shop.. then he got hurt on his Harley and I've been full time ever since... I grow sweet corn and squash, have some Charlais calves, two H's and an M as well as two working tractors , love cats and calves and old tractors and two new granddaughters..enjoy the farm and the life, but live in town..still thats where my friends are ,where we drink beer and play cards, sweat when we hay and care for each other.. thank God I'm a country boy..there's grease under my fingernails and manure on the soles of my boots ..what more could a guy ask for?????
