Doug I had a new 1566 in 1976, one of the last ones made. If the ta is bad either high or low side either won't work or will slip, I imagine it will take a couple thousand to fix. Those old tractors don't seem to bring much any more, have seen them as cheap as $5000 with cab and air. I was lucky when I sold mine in the early 80's, got $21000 for it, almost as much as I paid for it but it still looked like new. This photo was taken as it was just delivered, brand new, no hours on it.
