Grandpa retired from farming back in 65, but I can say Both of us really liked his 2 Ms. I was too little to drive them , but Grandpa always talked about how good those tractors were for him. He also had an F-20 with a loader, but after he tipped it over taking logs off an old cabin and nearly lost a finger, I guess the love was lost for it. My experience on a tractor growing up was on a 51 Ferguson TO20. We bushhogged, hauled short logs for firewood, lifted logs for a shed with the boom, and so many more things with that little beast. I did some plowing with it and it did great with that also in 3rd gear. That is one "bang for the buck" little utility tractor.I would sell 2 ford 9Ns to get one ferggy!Tough! 25 years of hard working it and not one problem outside of batterys getting old and a limb knocking off the fuel shut off knob. The Allis C (and the rest of those) are nice looking also, but I just sat on one to mow once in a while and only remember it was a good one.
