My uncle had a Super MTA that I got to run a lot and I believe in that time, that tractor was just about as good as a tractor could be, I sure enjoyed it. Later I had a straight Super M and it was good, but not as nice as the MTA. Now I run a CaseIH 7110 for a farmer friend, and with all the conveniences it has, it is a very nice machine to run but it lacks "character", I guess you'd call it. When you're an oldtimer like me, you sort of share the work with your tractor and the older ones were just more fun (most of the time) to work with. I've got an M now and a couple of (don't shoot) two cylinder John Deeres that I do exhibition plowing with and they are sure fun to run. They are not the tractor the Super MTA was though.
