Here is a link to a Loadstar truck photo. Dad bought it new in 62, photo was in 70. It had the 304 V8, 5 spd transmission and 2 spd rear end. The tag was added in 69. The truck was originally set up for livestock and grain hauling, had fold down racks at one time, that is an American brand bed. Was later assigned to grain hauling duty only. The truck had nearly 200000 miles on it when it was sold in 1982 and though underpowered it still used no oil and had never been touched.
