Let he who has not hid something from there
parents cast the first stone. Thanks to those who
made serious replies. I used the 544 all
afternoon yesterday on the feed grinder and
cleaning the hog barn. It has a scoop on it so I
shovel the manure into it then dump it in the
spreader. When its full I hooked it on the
spreader and unloaded it. Its a very nice
tractor. We will go to a few auctions this spring
to see if we can find a plow that will work with
it. We had a small one for the m that we used on
the garden but it is so small and wont hook up
right anyway. As far as planting goes My dad is
still not sure we plant half corn and half oats
and I guess you need two seperate planters so that
might be someting we might wait for next year
for. In my defense that M only cost 600 dollars 5
years ago and the guy who sold us the 544 gave us
100 dollars for parts so its not as bad and I do
allt he work raising the pigs anyways for free.
My dad is only home on friday and saturday because
he drives truck so I think I earn my keep. I hope
to someday own my own farm, Thanks
