If your 3 point has it's own cylinder, you should have no problem lifting the box scraper. If it's operated off the rocker shaft, it won't work, unless you rig up a snatch block pulley.

As far as using a 3pt log splitter, the drawback is the volumn of the touch control unit. (like 3 qts) You may have to rig up an auxillary tank. I run a splitter on my MF 253 with 12 gallons of hydraulic oil, and after a couple hours of splitting, the valve is too hot to touch.
