H MINN! I presume you have the rear wheels securely blocked? When performing the task myself, I'd taken 4X4's to construct a saw-horse type cribbing under the front of side rails, chisled out to clear the under structure of pan and timing pulley. I'd recommend not removing the entire front end, but rather remove the wheels and the bottom bolster. Like RPM, an engine hoist with chain to hang the top bolster assembly would allow you to make minute vertical motion to loosen from rust between bolster and side channel rails. With the wheels and bottom bolster off there remains a lot of bone crushing weight. To repeat Red's warning, BE CAREFUL, and an extra pair of hands would sure help to wiggle the bolster lands from out of the frame's channel irons. "TU"
