I want to put turf tires or some kind of nobby flotation tires on my 300 row crop tractor. I can't seem to find anything in the 12.4-38 size. What are my options, besides shaving down the ag tires on it now? Someone said I could try to retrofit the wheels with a "9 bolt hub" with a smaller diameter rim? But then I'd have to lower the front to make the tractor sit level. What other type of tires do sod farmer's use? Construction type tires? I'd really like to keep something that would work with my wheel's cast iron centers.
