Off set is no problem with pull type just hook cutter to left side in line with PTO. This is an advantage in cutting along fences and around trees. The main problem with tractor with no hydraulics is you have to stop and get off to set height. I have pulled 5 ft. with my 1940 A for about 10 years but if I was buying today I would go with 4 FT. Hope this is of some help.
