yes you can use the original pump as it puts out 1000psi and around 8gpm tap into the block at the rockshaft area where the lines go in ad a res of about a gallon in the return side and your spoolvalve by the headlite and go for it by the way the small line is the pressure and the large one is return have seen several with loaders that way can even use a two way controll valve if you want down pressure go for it
