I think that if you can get it for $500, take it. If ya open up the engine and it is gonna be real expensive or un-repairable, you can probably sell some parts. I have never parted out a tractor, and seems to me it would be kinda pain in the rear to post and ship stuff etc. You could probably even sell the tires if they are okay and get your money back. I can imagine it could get expensive once you start adding up engine work, injector pump, if hydraulics need work, etc. I gambled on a little JD M w/a bunch of stuff w/it for $500 that had been sitting out for a couple of years, luckily only had to pull the head and beat the cylinders free, runs great, no problems. I guess you can't get any info on why it was parked and left?
