Years ago I used to pull a 1951 Wards ER Fluid Drive tractor in the 4500 lb SS class. It had a 250 flathead 6 Chrysler took up to 288 cubes. We turned it 6000 rpms.It had 18.4x38's with a NF.We loaded it at a neighbors dock 1 mile away.It was run over there at 60 mph several times and it was so narrow it would fit in our 62 Ford F-600 truck with the grain sides on.You would have to turn alot of rpms to get an M Farmall up to 35mph.There were several M Farmall SS pulling tractors in our area that turned well over 4000 rpms so they were capable of 35 mph plus if you had enough hair on your chest.
