Your story does not add up. If it wasn't an approved Modification, then why is there a part # for the kit complete with instructions? If they didn't want folks turboing the d282, IH wouldn't supply this alleged kit. If "they" offered it for the 560, how come the 706 or 656 didn't come with a turbo standard?? IH never offered a turbo version of the d-282 in any application as far as I know. The first factory turbo'ed IH ag tractor was the 1206.
